Review of Noah (2014) by Caroline J — 18 Feb 2015
This was an ok movie in terms of special effects. But the way that parts of the story was changed around was just wrong! Aronofsky should of read the story more carefully. There were many parts of the movie that very non-biblical.
Noah going crazy in the end? Tubal-Cain making it onto the Ark? Japheth and Ham not having their wives on the Ark? The Watchers being rock creatures? Them returning to heaven? An army attacking the Ark? Methuslah being some warrior/protector for the Watchers? And when you watch the part where they are showing the process of how God created the world, it looks more like the Evolution process than the Divine creation process.
If you want to make a biblical movie, tell it truthfully instead of twisting the story. If someone who doesn't read the bible sees this, they will assume this is 100% truth when it is in actually, its only 50% truth.
