While they story is complete fiction it is at least interesting at times. Usually faith based movies are so horrible you want to scratch your eyes out. The cinematography can be stunning and the acting holds its own.

Now let's get to the fiction. Which it 100% is based on common sense alone but science too if that's not enough. If you put two of ever animal on a boat lose like that for months many of them would eat each other. All those animals for just one week of fresh water would need more than the boat can hold let alone the food that all those animals would need. Also there are not two of every animal where Noah lived. Every country, continent and even the ocean has its own life, which would die from all that fresh water mixing with the salt. Then we get to the entire earth being covered in water. That would also kill all the plant life and he didn't take that with him. A boat with three couples that are all related would in only three generations have a small village of health problems and mental handicaps from all that inbreeding. The size of the boat needed to carry all the animals. A year of food for the animals and the family would be the size of a large zoo. All he had was wood to work with. There's no way to keep that afloat. What does he do with all the animal pee and poo? There are only six of them and you would need at least a few thousand to clean up after and feed that many animals. Now let's put all that aside because even a child could work all that out. The science alone proves this never happened. We can study trends, soil, rock formations, glaciers and the ocean to see that the continents were NEVER under water in the times of Homo sapiens. Or even the Dinosaurs. Noah's ark is a fictional story that even in today's world with global warming still couldn't happen. That's because even though we can build even larger ships we still come across all those same issues.

With all that said this is just a movie and in the movie universe you can ignore common sense and physics. They certainly do.
