Review of Noah (2013) by Ryan R — 17 Feb 2016
Aronofsky has always infused symbolism and deeper meaning into his films. I can see some potential for that here again. I'm interested in the antediluvian aspects. Universal flood myths are wide spread, so I'm curious how this film may translate some of the current ideas regarding that as opposed to its obvious source as a biblical story.
That's a rather limited and myopic way of watching films... especially Aronofsky films. Hopefully this movie will deliver like The Fountain or Black Swan.
