Thoughts:
Acting is atrocious.
Will patton is so super annoying.
I'm a sucker for twist endings but even without it the second half of the movie is pretty entertaining. once the drama is out of the way and there's less screen time with Patton and more with Costner is starts to flow.
The twist ending is totally extrapolated onto the film. there is no foreshadowing or evidence that supports this twist. Costner does not act with enough complexity to support this sort of layers to his character.
