Review of No Time to Die (2021) by Dbohuslavschi — 18 Oct 2021
Barbara Broccoli has been teasing a true iteration of James Bond since 2006 with Casino Royale. Every movie I've been waiting patiently for the franchise to return to it's roots. Every movie I've been disappointed.
With this newest entry, I feel betrayed. Never in a million years would I have ever thought I'd see the day where a James Bond movie would show Bond being a d** and Bond being k*****. This latest movie is an insult to Ian Fleming, to all of the late-great actors to portray the character, and the fans.
I couldn't care less were the franchise goes from here on out. They can cast whichever black, non-binary, overweight woman to play James Bond that they'd like; I won't be spending a single penny to see it.
This is what this movie has effectively done to a die-hard Bond fan who watched his first Bond film (The Spy Who Loved Me) in first grade: black-pilled him.
