Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Matt Neal (458) for The Standard (252) on 10 Feb 2011

Despite its obviousness, the sharp script and the pairing of Portman and Kutcher elevate No Strings Attached above what you expect from a sex-based…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Sandra Hall (505) for Sydney Morning Herald (1,256) on 10 Feb 2011

The film's first half is best, largely because the conceit that keeps the lovers from the inevitable happy ending is much too flimsy to go…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By David Stratton (799) for At the Movies (Australia) (716) on 10 Feb 2011

It's a lot more candid, at least verbally, than most American rom coms are these days and I like that about it. I liked its cheekiness of dialogue…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Margaret Pomeranz (380) for At the Movies (Australia) (716) on 10 Feb 2011

It's not a great film but it's quite enjoyable…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Matthew Toomey (680) for ABC Radio Brisbane (680) on 10 Feb 2011

So why did I like No Strings Attached and yet dislike Love And Other Drugs? I don't know. I guess love really does move in mysterious ways…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Jim Schembri (1,298) for The Age (Australia) (918) on 09 Feb 2011

A great date movie and a slam-dunk must for chick flick aficionados…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Jake Wilson (570) for The Age (Australia) (918) on 09 Feb 2011

In the end, of course, love conquers all -- but to view this as a conservative moral would be to give a fun, busy comedy entirely too much weight…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Dc19 (6) on 09 Feb 2011

If it wasn't for the last 10 minutes of the movie, it would have been a solid 6…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Simon Miraudo (882) for Quickflix (709) on 08 Feb 2011

Sometimes it's just enjoyable to watch a movie where all the characters are nice; to spend ninety minutes with a bunch of people who are smart,…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Clem Bastow (48) for The Vine (179) on 08 Feb 2011

It ends up being just another one-night stand -- perfectly enjoyable, but mostly forgettable, and maybe even a bit regrettable…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Josh Forward (13) for FILMINK (Australia) (1,405) on 08 Feb 2011

A cut above the average rom-com thanks to the sharp writing, the real spark between the two leads and a handful of surprisingly heartfelt moments…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Dorrbecker (16) on 08 Feb 2011

Very dull romantic comedy we seen million times before, nothing new, or worth talking about…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Anders Wotzke (182) for Moviedex (362) on 06 Feb 2011

If I had to dig for praise, it's impressive that Reitman manages to get the 5'2 Portman and 6'3 Kutcher in the same frame…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By David Denby (676) for The New Yorker (1,837) on 05 Feb 2011

Bell steals every scene she's in, and her abrupt dismissal feels all the crueler for so much charisma wasted: She shoulda been a contender…

By Tony (188) on 02 Feb 2011

I wanted to like this film a lot more than I did…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

Don't...ever...stop f*cking me…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Christopher Smith (624) for Bangor Daily News (Maine) (624) on 30 Jan 2011

The hilarious supporting players keep things moving when the director stumbles, but No Strings Attached lacks the emotional core that would…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Jim Lane (1,151) for Sacramento News & Review (1,702) on 28 Jan 2011

an anemic rehash of When Harry Met Sally... without the insight…

Review of No Strings Attached (2011)

By Kimberley Jones (866) for Austin Chronicle (7,653) on 28 Jan 2011

No Strings Attached has a hell of a find: a nervous beauty who can precision-time a pratfall and win an audience's heart just by biting her…
