A cute, mildly humorous yet strictly by-the-numbers rom com. Portman is always great to watch (her acting is pretty good too) while Kutcher tones it down (thankfully). Director Ivan Reitman (of Ghostbusters fame) does a decent job, he's just no Judd Apatow who's somehow able to mix LOL comedy and the mush, more effectively.
Not as bad as the trailer made it out to be.
