Review of No Strings Attached (2011) by Elizabeth L — 31 Mar 2012
Sex-friends movies' fashion is spreading, and all the movies of that type have the same ending.
Looking into the content, we see Ashton in the very beginning going to a funeral wearing the black Jewish hat. since it's talking about sex and sex-friends, why inserting such scenes? and even if there's a need, why choosing Judaism? it's well-known that Ashton follows the Cabala, but it doesn't mean it should be stated in the movie.
Too much sex is going on. I really hated the scene of the two lesbians; it's disgusting in a way.
Alvin and Patrice are another story. Patrice is that shallow silly girl whom men are only interested her body; and that's the only interest of Alvin in women. nearly almost men are like this, but it's in a sick way with this old man. Sleeping with his son's girlfriend, Alvin has started all the actions of the movie, making Adam get so drunk that he ended up at Emma's place, then making love to her in 5 or 3 minutes the day after; anyways, this cannot be called "making love" since "love" isn't done this way.
The attraction between Adam and Emma started physically, and was in process with Adam emotionally when Emma was completely lost and plunged in the body relationship; the emotional state was realized by Emma toward the second third of the movie.
"i like never call her again" as a name for somebody :D.
The movie is funny when you feel bored and when you have a boy/girlfriend to watch with.
