Review of No One Lives (2013) by Steve W — 23 Aug 2013
A couple who are fighting about their relationship while moving to another place are kidnapped by a group of lowly criminals. Things are not as they seem, and the kidnapped person turns the tables on his attackers in this gory and grisly horror slasher.
Luke Evans plays an absolutely memorable and creepy role as the man who fights back. What I liked most about this film was the criminal family, and how they each had distinct personalities and were a bit fleshed out.
The worst acting was definitely from the main female lead, who was simply dreadful in her wooden and lame performance. Combining a twist on the genre with plenty of thrills and gore, No One Lives is a highly entertaining horror flick.
