Bahman Ghobadi provides us with a glimpse at Teheran's Independent music scene. A simple semi doco plot with the actual musicians who keep their freedom alive under the harsh laws of Iran's religious government.

Like the Cats and dogs of Iran that are not allowed on the street, the secular musicians of Tehran practice their art in basements, Dairy Farms and rooftops. although it's a big relief to see there are normal people living in Iran, the movie left me with a pessimistic feeling.

the Heroines of the film as the director are living outside of Iran and change seems further away than ever.
