Review of No One Killed Jessica (2011) by Vihang S — 23 Jan 2011
Saturday 22.45 hrs Singapore. A movie which has no khans or chocolate hero, it is not masala movie, No feet tapping music, only two leading actresses , but still the theater is packed . Indian Cinema and viewers are changing.
! A movie based on a newspaper story in early 2000, a very non glamorous Vidya and a fiery Rani carry the movie on their shoulders. The movie opens up thought process of the homeland and it reconstructs beautifully a true incidence which rocked the nation.
I found the movie as a thriller with some good messages. See it for a different a bollywood experience and Vidya is truly shining !It deserves a standing ovation. PS The song Dilli made me feel nostalgic.
