Review of No Man's Land (2001) by Jeff B — 31 Jan 2009
It's been a long time since I saw this. A great comedy drama about the pointlessness of war. Two soldiers, one Bosnian (well, actually two) and one Serb get caught between enemy lines in a trench and have to pass time while their sides try to deal with the situation.
It's short but it's entertaining, and Simon Callow has a funny small role as one of the members of the UN. Excellent ending. And this Oscar winner for Foreign Film breaks a couple of the rules, as far as the Foreign Film category goes.
