Review of No Man's Land (2001) by Carlo Magno M — 31 Jul 2010
It's bad enough that 2 opposing soldiers are fighting over their religious beliefs but at least speaks the same language and met the same girl Sanja so they have some things in common... but throw in a French-speaking UN soldier who wants to make a difference, an English reporter & a sweaty German bomb expert, a high ranking UN official (different ethnicity) dictated by neutral politics, protocols and saving face and mash them all together and now you have a plot.
This "confusing mix of people" involved can be compared with how each other sides blame the other in the war: Nobody knows who started the war. "I have the gun pointing at you and I say your people started the war".
In the end the two surviving trench soldiers still want to kill each other off even after having things in common, including survival.
