Review of No Escape (1994) by Gord T — 23 Jan 2008
This was a pretty fun action film. ray liotta is some super soldier sent through the private prison system of the future until he ends up on a terrible unknown prison island where the prisoners have either become savages or peaceful villagers.
liotta gets dropped off on the bad side and ends up killing 3 guys and taking their rocket launcher within the first 5 minutes of arriving. he ends up with the villagers and ends up trying to escape. there were some really funny moments in this one.
.. especially when the one guy yawned and got an arrow in the open mouth... I think that was my favourite part. I wish I could've seen the fat ass bitch guy and the warden get gutted like pigs hanging from their feet.
this was pretty cool and had pretty good effects for figthting, the prison model and a pretty nice explosion in the end. could've used a bit more action, another harder battle and more extensive use of the head bad guy.
a good refresher for the classic movie buff.
