Ok, most of us know that the war is bullshit, right? This movie told me about what I didn't know: the colossal foul-up that is US-occupied Iraq. It basically plays out like a guide for what NOT to do if you're invading/occupying a foreign country.
Spoiler alert: the biggest mistake was disbanding the Iraqi military. They were ready to be our allies and secure the country, but instead we basically told them to go home... without their jobs. That may have been the birth of the insurgency proper.
