Review of No End in Sight (2007) by Gustavo A — 18 Nov 2007
Well crafted and researched documentary on the Bush Adminisration's failure to plan post war Iraq. It becomes clear that these are not mistakes but consious decisions made by a small group of powerfull figures to manipulate the country into persistent chaos and benefit from it's demise.
It was never the intention to create a situation for a fast and peacefull transition, on the contrary, all the effort have been concentrating on ensuring failure. The documentary does not try and stipulate the reasons for this nore does it try to identify who and how the people behind these decisions benefit but this would be speculative and lower the impact of it's message.
It presents a well researched study of all the decisions made that lead to the current situation and allows for oneself to decide if a country such the US is capable of making such a string of mistakes without them being steared by a backroom agenda.
