Review of No End in Sight (2007) by Kyle K — 20 Dec 2007
A remarkably superb, sharp, and analytical approach to how the War in Iraq was mismanaged from before we even invaded.
It is not an indictment of the intent of the Long War but a hard, critical assessment of how the USA Government utterly failed to protect Iraqi citizens and to plan for the future of Iraq and the USA.
It unveils rampant crony-ism, miscommunication, and an almost offensive sense of condescension from the Bush administration.
This film made me believe in the intent of the Long War. I understand now what our administration was trying to do. As this film reveals, however, they set themselves up for failure from the beginning.
