Careful, impartial walkthrough built from interviews with mid-tier Bush administration officials creates a stunning picture of the decision making that led to the current chaos in Iraq. Although gross incompetence cant be completely ruled out it appears most likely that the current administration wanted a quagmire because it would give them license to be there for a long time.
