Review of No End in Sight (2007) by Damion R — 27 Jan 2008
The now-Oscar-nominated documentary on how the US botched the current war in Iraq is not only infuriating but also mesmerizing.
Narrated by Campbell Scott in very basic speak, the viewer learns, chronologically, how huge (and incredible) oversights on the US government's part has led to one of the worst, fatal, longest and most expensive wars in history..with no light at the end of the title as of yet.
This film left me in shock and awe as it angered me by educating me.
The best documentary I have seen in a long time, it has an incredible chance at scooping the Oscar next month.
