Review of No End in Sight (2007) by Muhammad A — 09 Mar 2008
This film is supposed to be a critique of the Iraq war, yet its point of departure is an implicit acceptance of the legitimacy of the war. The film only takes issue with its execution. The film makers have landed some major interviews, yet the critique remains rather tepid.
The film also accepts the administration's view of Iraqi politics rather uncritically. The only thing it has going for it is its excellent direction and editing.
