Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Andy R — 08 Dec 2014
What a wonderful buildup! Everything had been in placed perfectly, Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem were perfect for these roles.... but towards the falling action of the story seems to leave you very unsatisfied with plot holes that SHOULD HAVE been filled, but failed to explore those territories, and wondering what happened in certain parts, and suddenly begins to drag.
Once you reached the ending (which ends so sudden) you wonder why it ended like that, leaving you so upset with an unconcluded story. Why this won best picture is beyond me. This had A LOT of potential, but seemed to build up to greatly disappoint.
No wonder the academy awards that year was a big upset.
