Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Melanie D — 31 Jan 2013
Minimalist works maximally and Fargo-esque in that regard. Superior script with fantastic acting. Easy multi-watcher. The slower parts are never slow, and 'boring' just doesn't exist. Might add also that Carlson's mysterious "missing floor" may be floor 13, non-existent in most skyscrapers.
Great performances by all with the 'underrated' praise going to Brolin and Harrison. Oh, and be on the lookout for a man who has recently drunk milk before you unwittingly find yourself in a jackpot you can't get out of.
A treasure.
