Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Kyle S — 20 Jul 2013
Javier Bardem is fantastic. He is evil, he is methodical, he knows what he wants and he's willing to die to get it. He alone is reason to see this movie, Josh Brolin is the other. Even though he being chased by a badass killer, he continues to be one step ahead and defying the odds, to a point that is.
Brolin's Moss is obviously in over his head but continues to escape with his life and his money which is fascinating to watch. This movie filled with extreme violence but it's still set and grounded within an everyday setting somehow making it all seem plausible.
