No Country For Old Men does not follow standard film protocol. It doesn't really wrap up like other movies, and the ending is very abrupt (or it isn't, if you don't want me to give the plot away).
Still, that's a good thing, as this is a very great movie. It's hard to describe, but it's very great and very well directed. It was a great experience watching it, but that doesn't mean that it was enjoyable or ended furfillingly.
Overall, great.
