Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Mihael T — 21 Oct 2013
Well done and ok movie. A lot of twists in the story. Good if not great act. Decent dialogs... But somehow this movie does not have some valuable message to the audience. All meanings this movie has are overshadowed by one: We all must be affraid to live, because it is violence and evil out there which can't be beaten and it is just the matter of time when it would hit us; regardless what you do, it's not you who decide of your own life.
EDIT: Uppon second view I must add this. The message is we do have option to decide. we can choose to die, or we can choose to retire.
