Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Thomas L — 23 May 2014
No country for old men is a beutifully shot, well-crafted, eerie film with a chilling performance from Javier Bardem as the mysterious serial killer Anton Chigurgh. It is a great cat-and-mouse three-way chase between Lwelyn, Bell and Chigurgh that sets up a great premise.
However, despite an admirably bold subtlety, the film also seems to drag at times, which makes it hard to focus. Still a good movie though.
