Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Chris Q — 11 Jan 2015
My eyes were glued to the screen for the entire 2 hours. There is not a dull scene or shot in the entire film, and there was not a moment when I was not in suspense on what would happen next. The intensity is slow but brilliant.
The Coen brothers continue to make fantastic movies, and this is one of their best. I used to think There Will Be Blood should've won Best Picture over this, but after rewatching this I will have to take that statement back.
Both of these movies are masterpieces, but this I think beats it out. Everything in the movie is incredibly crafted, and is one of my favorite movies. There's nothing else I can really say besides go see it.
