Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Ian S — 08 Mar 2015
One of the great films of the new millennium, a practically perfect thriller that remains mesmerizing on repeated viewings. The Coen's changed very little in adapting the novel, but that's arguably the strongest aspect of what they did here .
. . rather than re-working McCarthy's prose or plot they used it as blueprint for intriguing visual possibilities.
