Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Ryan C — 13 Sep 2016
"No Country For Old Men" is one of the best examples of two fantastic storytellers joining forces with three of the most talented actors in cinema. Winner of four Oscars (including 'Best Picture'), the film takes us through a gritty dog chase filled with intensity and thrills.
Josh Brolin plays a Vietnam Vet that happens to stumble into a drug deal gone bad and finds $2 million in cash for the taking. However, there's a psychopathic hitman (Javier Bardem) that soon goes after Brolin to kill and recover the cash.
Joined by other fantastic performances including Tommy Lee Jones, Bardem's character is so thrilling that it won him 'Best Supporting Actor.' All led by the creative Coen Brothers, this film also went on to win 'Best Director' and 'Best Adapted Screenplay.
