Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Anthony S — 04 Jun 2017
An exceptional piece of filmmaking, with visuals so beautiful contrasted against a storyline so raw and events so brutal that it's impossible not to squirm just once during this incredible film. Every performer performs brilliantly and every scene bristles with menace or dread, and yet it all is exceedingly satisfying, at least in how expertly the film is put together.
A true masterpiece this one is.
