No Country for Old Men is a 2007 film about the evolution of crime directed by the legendary Coen brothers. The movie stars Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Tommy Lee Jones and Woody Harleson. I'd been wanting to see this film for a while and well I finally saw it and it blew my mind.

No County for Old Men is probably one of the best thrillers of the past decade. When Josh Brolin's character Llewelyn Moss stumbles across a drug deal gone wrong and finds a case full of money he decides to take it.

However after this hitman Anton Chigurh (played outstandingly by Javier Bardem) is sent after Llewelyn Moss to get back the money and kill him. Meanwhile Tommy Lee Jones plays the town sherif who's investigating the crime left behind by Anton.

The acting is incredible and the violence is so brutal and gory I'm really suprised it didn't get an 18 rating here in the uk. My only problem with the film is the ending is a bit of an anticlimax, but it doesn't ruin the film at all.

A+.
