Review of No (2012) by Paolo R — 02 Mar 2013
I'm loving the strong political movies at the moment... this is like Lincoln but set in the 80s - with a lovely look and feel - a great cast - a key democratic act that defeats villainy - and the advertising maverick that helped it all happen.
GGB is great in his usual understated way. The choice to go 4:3 in order to intercut the real footage of the time is inspired. And the participation of people who were really involved in such a seamless and artful way most pleasing.
It should get your vote.
