Review of No (2012) by Zack B — 26 Oct 2013
The cinematography immediately shocked me into credulous abandon: I was at the mercy of its textured depiction of the past. It utilizes low definition camera work, a perfect choice in regards to harmonizing the reenactments with the actual footage from the time.
The result is a mesmerizing political film that leaves one in eager anticipation, despite knowing the historical outcome.
