Leaving politics and history aside for another discussion- I love Oliver Stone. The man is the quintessential American filmmaker who has defined Vietnam. And while Nixon is overlong (I own and have only ever seen teh 220 minute cut) and has some dry spots but Stone's Acidtrip cinematography and my weakness for character studies with dozens of familiar faces makes this a winner!
