Review of Nixon (1995) by Kami L — 28 May 2008
Oliver Stone really was (is) the social critic (or should I say cinematographer) nro. 1 of Hollywood. Now they of course have communist mama's boys like Michael Moore slandering great and historically important supermen like Charlton Heston and lord knows what other crimes against humanity that fat shithead has done, but oh well, Michael Moore shouldn't even be worth a mention so I just move on.
This movie made me realize how great man Nixon was. He had guts, determination and a warm heart. And he also showed that one doesn't have to be a natural born leader to be a president. It all can be compensated with other abilities. Which he sure as Hell had. What about Watergate you say? Who gives a shit about Watergate. It was Nixon who ENDED the Vietnam war !! Something that all the pussy asses (like John F. Kennedy for example) couldn't do. Eat that, you hippies.
But yeah, this movie had some boring moments too. Politics is interesting, but three hours?? Not that interesting. Bob Hoskins as J. Edgar Hoover was hilarious though.
