Review of Nixon (1995) by Blessing B — 24 Nov 2008
Interesting film with a definitive Stone touch. Nixon is definitely an intriguing character and this film doesn't really stop at nothing. Obviously there are some gaps here and there which fiction has to fill in, sometimes believably and sometimes a bit not so.
Even though it lasted over three hours, it didn't really feel like that. Hopkins is great as Nixon, sometimes I actually mistook him for the real guy :).
