Regardless of your politics, this is a fascinating portrait of Nixon, and he is brilliantly played by Hopkins, who always brings his A-game. Stylistically, this film is all over the map, with black & white and color used, along with various editing techniques along with extensive use of archival footage.
If you're a history fan like myself, you will probably benefit from researching Nixon's life so as to clear up any misconceptions, as Stone tends to play fast and loose with the facts.
