Anthony Hopkins gives a empathetic performance as the 37th President. Oliver Stone continues his talented style of filmmaking taking archive footage, 35 mm, 16mm, video, black and white footage, grainy stock footage, and the use of telling a non linear story that is a companion piece to Orson Welles Citizen Kane, and Shakesparian tragedy.
