Review of Ninja: Shadow of a Tear (2013) by Borhan K — 02 Feb 2014
Ninja II: Shadow of a Tear is the second installment of the Ninja movies that has what I would like to think JCVD love child Scott Adkins. This story revolves around the murder of his pregnant wife buy a drug lord and his vengeance adventure to bring the murder to justice.
Personally I prefer the Undisputed series that Scott has done over this. Although I will have to watch the first part that would give me a stronger base.
The strange thing about this was in the start of the film his wife has a craving due to her being pregnant and the craving was weird it was Chocolate and Seaweed go figure that one.
This is what I needed for a Sunday night some pointless non thinking ass kicking movie.
Not for the kiddies at all.
Morale of the story do not underestimate a man that has lost his wife because she was murdered he will come and find you and kick your ass :P.
If your a fan off Scott Adkins and movies like JVCD did in his early days you will enjoy this.
