Review of Ninja Assassin (2009) by Vincent B — 28 Feb 2011

This film doesn't cut it for me. The story- rather lame and uninteresting, the acting- tv show level performances, gore- way over the top and unnecessary, even the action is mostly mediocre with a merely few cool shots/moves. the only saving grace is that the movie moves a long fairly quick and kept fairly short.

And I really didn't like the set/location selection for this film. why Germany, and I am sure there are more interesting locations than that. And I wonder why what japanese people think of this, first - the ninjas are portrayed as the really bad dudes wiht no moral, second- the only good ninja is played by a Korean. ouch.
