While some of the action scenes were very good - I agree with others who have said that having a western dude play the hero just don't work for me. Aside from the original American Ninja - I don't think they've ever develop a good lead for that role.

And like others I do agree that this is very similar to Ninja Assassin except with out an awesome lead (Rain) being in it.
