I'm not sure how this movie gor made. "Hey Kevin Spacey! Barry Sonnenfeld called, wants you to be in a new movie!" "Sign me up!" Probably. Really amateur hour story with a cat that for reasons too stupid to go over, talks like Kevin Spacey.
