Review of Nine Dead (2010) by Countess N — 11 Sep 2011
This movie would have been better as a play. It's very talkie, the acting is pretty see through and the only reason you really finish it is because you want to know the punch line. It's trying to be like Saw where the antagonist has some kind of twisted moral to teach.
It is interesting seeing Melissa Joan Hart considering I had not seen her since back in her Nickelodeon days. I suppose it toys with the moral question of who is really the "bad guy" here--the individual holding everyone captive or the captives themselves who each have sins haunting them.
It would make a very good play probably (with a different cast of course.).
