Rob Marshall's "next one" after Chicago is an entertaining film, but the story is M.I.A. The singing and dancing are fun - especially for the guys in the audience - but I couldn't really feel anything for Daniel Day-Lewis's character.
Nine is like candy - sweet to the taste and forgotten as soon as it's gone. A pleasurable distraction at best.
