I had avoided this movie after seeing mostly bad reviews, but I have to say this one blew me away: brilliant exploration of the creative process and its link to an artist's failing relationships. I was mesmerized by the film's ever-shifting perspectives, time-frames, and personas.
All the characters drip with sex-appeal and pizzazz and authenticity. One of the best musicals ever, IMHO.
