I was really looking forward to seeing this film - with its amazing cast, I was expecting it to be an extravaganza. I couldn't have been more wrong. The setting, photography and set design is really good - but the whole thing is let down by a poor story, which goes all over the place, and very, very poor songs.
None of them are catchy and almost all contain the word "Guido" (name of the main character) repeated over and over again. Some performances stand out - like Penelope Cruz and Fergie... but overall.
