This has a certain style and panache about it, but it was let down by the songs (not the performance, but the lyrics). Penelope Cruz is fantastic in this, the rest are mostly throwaway parts. DDL continues where he left off from Unbearable Lightness... with his accent. (I find it strange to speak English with such an 'authentic' accent, but maybe it's just me).
All in all a little confusing and a musical where I would agree with comments like 'why do they start singing?' that I usually disagree with.
