The film convinced me that I can't appreciate musicals. I may be disappointing fans of the many famous actresses who star in the film, and disagree with the critics' fascinated approvals, but to me the music is flat (except for 'Italian'), dances aren't interesting (except for the two with the sexy Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson), performance by the protagonist is not convincing.
A great disappointment, overall.
