Rob Marshall is not Federico Fellini, and "Nine" is not "8 1/2". If you've the seen the latter, a masterpiece by any valid measure, there's little reason to give this a look.
Marion Cotillard is the only one who seems to actually bring some credibility to her acting, beyond the musical numbers.
