I actually used to get excited over movie musicals once upon a time (except for HSM, those sucked!) and thanks to this movie, not anymore. Alright the cast looks great and there's a few songs that are good, but the movie is style over content in many ways, and the stage version's moral completely is ignored.

This killed off interest in the movie musical for quite some time and it's not hard to understand why.
